Udinese are ready to compete with Arsenal and Galatasaray for FC Cluj star Lacine Traore.

The youngster was the subject of a £2.5 million offer from Udinese last week, which was thrown out by the Romanians.

Cluj rate Traore closer to £5 million, particularly with the likes of Arsenal and Gala also chasing the player.

Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo has made Traore, who has been likened to Chelsea star Didier Drogba, his No1 summer transfer target and is sure to return with an improved offer in the coming weeks.
