Two more youth teamers caught up in Barcelona transfer storm

Adrian Guerrero and Alexis Meva have also been caught up in Barcelona's FIFA transfer storm.

Both youngsters spent last season, successfully, away from Barca on-loan - but are not being allowed to re-register for Barca.

Barca were banned from last summer's transfer market due to their youth recruitment methods.

Sport says Adrian is not even foreign. He is Spanish, has all the documentation he needs and his only 'crime', as is the case with Alexis, too, is that last season he was on loan away from Barça. Adrian played for Damm and Alexis, who is from Cameroon but with all the necessary paperwork, was with Badalona.

However, FIFA will not allow Barca to register the players again. They consider that, even though they were never let go, they were with different clubs and therefore have to be re-signed. For that reason, until January, neither of them can play.
