FC Twente are in talks with Everton midfielder Nathangelo Markelo.

TC Tubantia says Twente technical director Jan Streuer is keen to take Markelo on-loan next season.

Everton chief Marcel Brands is keen for Markelo to play first team football next season and is open to sending him away on-loan.

A move to Twente would make sense for Markelo, whose younger brother Jahnoah plays for the academy.

Markelo has a deal with Everton to 2022.
