Tuchel responds to Chelsea travel budget restrictions: As long as we have a bus...

Thomas Tuchel says the government's restrictions on Chelsea's travel budget will not stop them from attending games.

The UK Government stunned English football on Thursday when they announced sanctions on Blues owner Abramovich following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

One of the sanctions includes restricting the club's travel budget to and from fixtures with a maximum expenditure of £20,000.

Chelsea won 3-1 against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Thursday, and speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Tuchel said of the restrictions: "Let's see if it stays like this. If it does, I don't know. We take it day by day. I didn't see that coming yesterday and I don't know what is coming tomorrow.

"Everybody can be very sure that we focus on us, to keep the attitude and the mentality right on the training ground and within the team.

"So far we can trust each other and this will not change. As long as we have enough shirts and a bus to drive to the games we will be there and will compete hard."
