Thomas Tuchel is swimming in money after his move to Bayern Munich.

Tuchel, 49, tool charge of Bayern after the Bundesliga giants sacked Julian Nagelsmann on Friday.

He penned a two-and-a-half year deal, which will see him earn £10.5million a season, says AS.

Tuchel wages are significantly more than the reported £6.2m-a-season predecessor Nagelsmann was earning.

However, it is still less than what he was paid as compensation when sacked by Chelsea last September.

Reports claim Tuchel was awarded a mammoth £13m when owner Todd Boehly axed the German.
