Bayern Munich have denied reports of coach Thomas Tuchel blasting his players after defeat to Bayer Leverkusen last week.
It was claimed Tuchel told his players, "You are not as good as I thought. I have to adapt to your level".
But Dieter Nickles, head of press atn Bayern, has now stated: "Maybe we should just establish one thing. After the Leverkusen match, it emerged that Thomas Tuchel should have said a certain phrase in the dressing room.
"It's just not true, there's no truth in it."
Former Chelsea manager Tuchel has also denied the claim.
"The sentence that Dieter just mentioned is absurd. If a coach says that, he will never get on the bus again."
