Tuchel admits he had doubts about Chelsea players prior to win over Norwich

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admits he had doubts his players would be focused for Thursday's clash with Norwich City.

It was revealed just hours before kickoff that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich had his assests frozen by the British government, which stopped his sale of the Blues and forced a number of sanctions on their operations.

Tuchel's side went on to win 3-1 at Carrow Road, and the German said after the game: "It would be a lie if I said we I had no doubts but I also had a lot of trust.

"In difficult circumstances we produced a lot of results and good performances so we can trust in our mentality and the culture in the club.

"We allowed ourselves to focus on the football."
