Thai pay-television broadcaster TrueVisions has acquired exclusive rights in the country to football's English Premier League, reports SportBusiness.
The three-year deal covers the 2019-20 to 2021-22 seasons.
Thai newspaper The Nation reported that TrueVisions will broadcast all 380 matches per season across all its platforms, including TrueMoveH, TrueOnline and TrueID.
As well as live action, TrueVisions will show reruns of matches and highlights of every game. A total of six channels will be dedicated to the Premier League from next season.
TrueVisions has sub-licensed Premier League rights from beIN Sports for the past three seasons but will now hold exclusive rights to the competition in Thailand. Financial terms of its agreement were not disclosed.
The deal brings an end to the uncertainty surrounding Premier League rights in Thailand for next season. Rights in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia had initially been awarded to social media company Facebook, which also agreed a separate deal to cover the competition in Vietnam.
