Stoke City have indicated that they will not roll over for relegation battlers Wigan Athletic on Sunday.
The FA Cup runners-up are hoping to get a trio of key players back for the final game of the Premier League season following their disappointing 3-0 loss to Manchester City during the week.
Matthew Etherington, Jermaine Pennant and Robert Huth are all expected to be fit after missing the midweek trip to Eastlands whilst Kenwyne Jones and Asmir Begovic may also be back in the starting line-up.
The Potters can go as high as eighth if they get the points over the Latics who desperately need a win otherwise it will be curtains for them from a Premier League viewpoint.
