Tribal Trends - Transfers: PSG, Liverpool know Dembele price; Lampard meets Abramovich; Man Utd offered Bale or Isco

We're well into the summer market now. Who's excited?!

With the season now over, most of the attention has turned to the summer transfer window.

There are stories and speculation swirling around everywhere. Sometimes it feels overwhelming.

But please don't stress, because here at Tribalfootballwe will summarise the biggest stories throughout football each week and let you know whether you should believe the paper talk or not…

Ousmane Dembele - Barcelona

Clubs Interested: PSG, Liverpool

Barcelona have set a price tag for France international Ousmane Dembele who has garnered the interest of PSG and Liverpool as of late.

According to Spanish news outlet AS, the Blaugrana are willing to listen to offers for Dembele for €100m – the same price they paid Dortmund for the winger's services back in 2017 minus add-ons.

Whilst there may be concerns over Dembele's attitude and fitness, Dembele's ability is not under question.

The Frenchman is capable of performing at the highest level, hence he'd be an excellent addition to PSG and Liverpool should they decide to pay Barcelona's asking price.

With Neymar reportedly set to make a return to Barcelona, PSG could get Dembele as his replacement.

Liverpool on the other hand already have a stacked squad – unless a member of their front three should decide to leave this summer, it's hard to envisage Klopp acquiring a forward who could potentially ruin the team's chemistry up front.

Likelihood: More likely Paris than Merseyside

Paul Pogba - Manchester United

Clubs Interested: Real Madrid

Real Madrid appear keen on bringing Paul Pogba to the Santiago Bernabeu as The Sun claim that the Spanish football giants have told Manchester United to accept either Isco or Gareth Bale as part of a deal for Pogba's services.

Zinedine Zidane views Pogba as a signing that will help take the club back to the forefront of world football, considering the midfielder's abilities on and off the ball.

Los Blancos have already acquired the likes of Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard, and should Manchester United let Pogba go, Madrid could have one of the best lineups in Europe next season.

Pogba seems open to a move away from Old Trafford as he is, by his own admission, considering having a new challenge somewhere else.

Madrid seems keen as well, and Manchester United, despite still needing Pogba's services, may feel like they could replace him with the funds they get back from his sale.

Likelihood: United should consider it

Kalidou Koulibaly- Napoli

Clubs Interested: Liverpool

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Kalidou Koulibaly to form what could be the best centre-back pairing in the Premier League, and quite possibly, the world.

The Senegal international has been linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks with Koulibaly seemingly seeking a new challenge.

Reports claim that Jurgen Klopp has contacted Koulibaly's agent to discuss a possible move for the centre-back.

Liverpool fans have been clamouring for Koulibaly for a while, hence his arrival will go down well with the club's supporters.

Considering Liverpool's current standing in world football, after winning the Champions League, the prospect of turning out for the Reds alongside Virgil Van Dijk will probably be too good for Koulibaly to turn down.

Likelihood: Good move for both parties

Frank Lampard - Derby County

Clubs Interested: Chelsea

Chelsea fans are divided over Frank Lampard's potential appointment following Maurizio Sarri's move to Serie A champions Juventus.

By the looks of it, the Chelsea legend will be taking over at Stamford Bridge ahead of the new Premier League season.

According to The Sun, Frank Lampard is set to meet with Abramovic in France on his yacht to discuss the terms of his appointment.

Chelsea, though, will need Derby's permission before they are able to engage in any formal talks with Lampard.

Whilst Lampard might be somewhat of a punt for Chelsea, there aren't many great alternatives at the moment, besides Jose Mourinho.

Likelihood: The one and only Lamps to Chelsea is quite possible

Kiernan Tierney - Celtic

Clubs Interested: Arsenal

According to The Sun, Celtic have rejected Arsenal's opening offer for fan favourite, Kiernan Tierney.

The Gunners tabled a bid of £15m which was deemed far off of Tierney's value by Celtic as the Scottish outfit's asking price for Tierney is £25m.

Arsenal reportedly tried to offer fringe players such as Carl Jenkinson, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah as part of the deal.

But Celtic appear set to stick to their asking price considering Tierney's importance to the team.

Arsenal have a very limited budget to worth with so they're unlikely to compromise on whatever they're willing to spend for a player's services this summer.

They will most likely turn their attention elsewhere if Celtic is unwilling to lower their asking price.

Likelihood: This one could fall through
