TRIBAL STATS - Matchday 4: Liverpool's worse loss in 90 years; Man Utd's Rashford equals Rooney record; Lacazette ties with... Chamakh;

It was a week of insanity as the Premier League returned with champion clubs falling and managers being booted. Here are the facts and stats that matter (and those that don't as well) from the week that was in the Premer League!

Liverpool's 5-0 embarrassment to Manchester City was their worst loss to the side since 1925, a year in which Huddersfield were crowned champions.

The loss was Jurgen Klopp's equal worst as a manager, with his Mainz side also losing by 5 goals in a clash against Werder Bremen over a decade ago.

For Manchester City it still fell short of their greatest ever league victory, as they beat Norwich 7-0 in 2013.

Striker Sergio Aguero's opening goal for his side also saw him become the top scoring Non-European in Premier League history, as he overtook Dwight Yorke. Aguero has now scored 124 league goals.

Alexandre Lacazette's strike for Arsenal makes him just the 2nd Gunner to score in his first two home Premier League games for the club. The other man was ill fated striker Marouane Chamakh.

Danny Welbeck's 2 goals saw his tally for the season rise to 3, already surpassing his total for the entirety of last season by one goal.

Brighton & Hove Albion made history in their game, notching up their first ever Premier League victory. The victory snapped West Brom's impressive unbeaten start to the year.

Christian Eriksen's goalscoring effort in Tottenham's 3-0 win away at Goodison Park saw him draw equal with Nicklas Bendtner for most PL goals scored by a Dane.

Harry Kane's brace for Tottenham means he has now reached 100 Spurs goals in all competitons.

An Everton player also reached a century of their own in the same clash against Tottenham, as Wayne Rooney received his 100th ever Premier League yellow card. He is just the second player in the history of the league to be cautioned 100 times, with the other man being Gareth Barry.

Alvaro Morata's scoring header for Chelsea was his 9th in the past year. Only Andrea Belotti has scored more with his head in the past year across Europe's top five leagues.

Southampton's scoring troubles continued in their 2-0 loss to Watford. They have now failed to find the scoresheet in 3 of their first 4 games in the league this season. Striker Manolo Gabbiadini has been subbed off in all of their games this year.

Although Stoke stunned Manchester United 2-2, the news wasn't all bad for the Red Devils. Marcus Rashford notched his 12th PL goal for the club. The only teenager to ever score more goals for the club was a young Wayne Rooney.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has now gone 4 consecutive matches without a loss to Jose Mourinho and his men.

Newcastle's Lascelles scored his 3rd goal for the club in his side's victory to Swansea. Of those three goals, two have come as a result of a header off a corner against Swansea.

West Ham's 2-0 win against Huddersfield saw Joe Hart snap a run of 23 league games without a clean sheet that spanned back to his stint in Italy last season.

The two goals that found their way past Huddersfield saw them concede for the first time this season. Every side has now conceded at least once this campaign.

And inloving memory of Frank de Boer's astonishingly short tenure as Crystal Palace manager, we present this week's special feature. Look away Palace fans, this is Tribal Stats: Frank de Boer Edition.

Frank de Boer's Crystal Palace side notched 23 shots without scoring this weekend in their 1-0 loss to Burnley.

Frank de Boer's men fell after an early goal to Burnley'sChris Wood, who became the first new Zealander to score a goal on his starting debut in the league.

Frank de Boer's side became the first top division team to lose their first four games and not score a goal since Preston in 1924/1925

Frank de Boer became the first permanent manager in PL history to be dismissed without seeing his team score a goal.

Frank de Boer's 4 matches in charge of Crystal Palace is the shortest tenure in Premier League history.

Frank de Boer was dismissed after just 77 days as manager, remarkably shorter than his previous stint as manager at Inter Milan, in which he was let go after just 85 days.
