Juventus legend David Trezeguet is supremely confident that Chelsea have made an astute appointment in the form of incoming head coach Antonio Conte.

The currently Italy manager will take the reins at Stamford Bridge this summer and according to ex-Bianconeri teammate Trezeguet, the 46-year-old is the perfect figure to lead the Blues back to glory following a stuttering season under Jose Mourinho and then Guus Hiddink.

"Chelsea have definitely made the best decision possible," Trezeguet told Tribalfootball.com.

"He is the right man to bring order back to Chelsea and to bring the club back to the winning team that they have to be.

"He is the right man to bring success back to Chelsea."

Trezeguet was in Melbourne speaking as his Juventus' ambassador at the launch of the 2016 International Champions Cup Australia, presented by Audi which takes place at the MCG between the Serie A champions, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, Premier League title-chasers Tottenham Hotspur and current A-League title holders Melbourne Victory in late July.
