Travel mayhem as two Kiev-bound flights grounded in Liverpool

300 Liverpool fans will now travel to Kiev after their cancelled flight was re-arranged.

Three flights leaving from John Lennon Airport was cancelled on Thursday, but one of them has now be rescheduled to 10:20am on Friday.

The other two flights remain cancelled.

All three flights were arranged by Worldchoice Holidays of Widnes, and Managing director Shay Soni spoke about the issue to the press.

She said: "Over the last 48 hours I have gone to hell and back, I have gone to the ends of the earth to try and get these flights going.

"We have major issues with getting slots at Kiev airport even though we put in for the slots at the right time."
