On-loan Arsenal fullback Armand Traore is confident Portsmouth won't be relegated.

Speaking at the launch of FIFA 09's Ultimate team, Traore told Sky Sports: "I am very confident the club can avoid relegation. I think we will be fine, to be honest.

"Portsmouth are a great club. We've shown in the past that we can play football and win games."

He added: "It is very important we pick up points against our relegation rivals because the league is so tight.

"Clubs like Hull City and Stoke City and us, any win makes a big difference. It is really important."
