Tranmere Rovers boss Mellon happy with Liverpool striker Glatzel

Tranmere Rovers boss Micky Mellon is delighted with the early impact of Liverpool loan signing Paul Glatzel.

The 20-year-old spoke of his excitement to test himself in the English fourth tier after completing his move to Prenton Park and Mellon is pleased with the impact he has made so far at the club.

"He's done very well. We are very pleased with him and he has been a brilliant addition to the group. He comes with great pedigree and we're enjoying trying to keep moving him forward," said the Tranmere boss.

"It's a different type of football he's going to be playing and there will be different asks. To become a top player, you've got to be able to answer the questions of whatever game you're playing. That's what Paul is working very hard to be able to do."
