Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu is pushing Sheffield United to go higher for Ugurcan Cakir.
It broke over the weekend that Agaoglu had accepted a €20m offer from the Blades for the Turkey goalkeeper. However, Fanatik says he is now pushing the Blades to go higher to €22m.
Agaoglu is using competition from Leeds United and Brighton to put pressure on United. The Blades went from €15m to €20m after both Premier League rivals had made contact with Trabzonspor.
As Trabzonspor and United continue to haggle, the other major stumbling block to overcome is Agaoglu's insistence of a 15 per cent cut of any sell-on fee being agreed.
Should Cakir leave for Agaoglu's valuation, he will become Trabzonspor's most expensive sale.
