Yaya Toure arrived 24 hours ahead of schedule to be sure of making Manchester City's clash with Tottenham tomorrow.

Toure scored for Ivory Coast their 4-3 defeat to DR Congo this week.

The Mirror says he was not due back to return to City's Etihad training HQ until Friday morning.

But he reported back at 11am on Thursday morning. He then went training, was given the all-clear by the club's physios and has now made himself available for selection.
