Ahead of this weekend's El Clasico, Toure said: "Barca haven't been able to count on many senior players this season. But at full-strength, I think we are stronger than Madrid.

"(Lionel) Messi's injury is very untimely, but against Real Madrid we must play as a team and win as a team."

Asked about criticism arriving from Real officials and players this season, Toure declared: "We'll respond in the correct way ... on the pitch."
