Francesco Totti has called on Roma teammates to put the club ahead of new contract talks. The Roma captain says qualifying for the Champions League must be everyone's priority as he declared: "Together we must as a team overcome this period of emergency, putting aside the individual personal problems, such as contracts.
"To me this is not a problem, it is a topic that has never been addressed and I am sure that the club will choose the appropriate time to discuss my future. I feel complete and ready to play again for many more years, I will try to stop when I cannot do anymore.
"I am hoping to coach. But before then, as I've said to him in person some time ago, I want to play for Luciano Spalletti until the end of my career."
