The Roma captain says qualifying for the Champions League must be everyone's priority as he declared: "Together we must as a team overcome this period of emergency, putting aside the individual personal problems, such as contracts.
"To me this is not a problem, it is a topic that has never been addressed and I am sure that the club will choose the appropriate time to discuss my future. I feel complete and ready to play again for many more years, I will try to stop when I cannot do anymore.
"I am hoping to coach. But before then, as I've said to him in person some time ago, I want to play for Luciano Spalletti until the end of my career."
