Tottenham willing to compete with Chelsea for Blanc

Tottenham and Chelsea are battling for the services of France coach Laurent Blanc.

The People says Blanc is likely to be a free agent after the Euro 2012 finals, when his current France deal expires.

The Frenchman is on the radar of Chelsea and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, should Harry Redknapp take the England job.

Levy believes Blanc fits the bill at Spurs as he would like to employ a foreign coach who would be happy working below a director of football.
