Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will reject any offer from Russia for midfielder Niko Kranjcar.
Kranjcar is wanted by FC Krasnodar in Russia, where the transfer market doesn't close until next month.
Redknapp was reluctantly open to offers for the unsettled Croatia international in January, but Kranjcar has since proved an able deputy for the injured Gareth Bale, scoring in Spurs' last two Barclays Premier League matches.
Krasnodar, who were formed only four years ago by a retail billionaire, are a late addition to the Russian Premier League after FC Saturn Moscow Oblast withdrew because of financial difficulties.
Any approach for the 26-year-old before the summer is likely to be rebuffed though.
