Tottenham are keeping tabs on Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula.
The 22 year-old is in his second season with OM and has been a long-term target for Chelsea and Tottenham.
However, French media sources say Spurs have now had scouts posted at Marseille games in the early rounds of this season to run the rule over Imbula.
Despite his tender age, Imbula has firmly established himself as a first-choice in Marseille's midfield, playing 37 games last term and being an ever present this season.
Spurs football chief Franco Baldini is a big fan of Imbula and did consider him for AS Roma while the player was bursting onto the scene with Guingamp.
