Tottenham are preparing a bid for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.

Il Messaggero says Spurs are admirers of Barella.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is looking to reunited with two players from his former club, Inter Milan.

One of those is Barella, with the other being defender Milan Skriniar.

Liverpool have been linked with Barella in the past and Jurgen Klopp appears to be a fan of the Italian, describing him as “a really good player" who “has all the things that you want from a midfield player" earlier this year.

Tottenham's interest could force Klopp into action, Spurs now regarded as a direct rival under Conte.
