Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli hailed Erik Lamela's performance in victory over Burnley.

Lamela struck the winner on the weekend.

"It was a great goal, a curler to the second post with his left foot, it was perfect," Chadli told the Spurs website. "We all know he's capable of that."

Roberto Soldado said: "It was a great goal and very important for him and for the team. He is a very good player and has great qualities. He can create and score goals and now he'll have more confidence to go on and score more goals."

Harry Kane added: "He's been working hard and it was great to see him get on the scoresheet and help us with the victory. I thought the team, everyone including Erik, was excellent."
