Tim Krul says he's happy at Newcastle United.

The Dutchman is being linked with an end of season move to Tottenham.

He told the Mirror: "It's one of those periods. People are linked everywhere and as a player, you just have to switch off in that month.

"If things have to happen, they have to happen, but I don't read the papers and I don't read on the internet because it will play with your head.

"Every year, it's the same, to be honest. I know where I am, I am loving life at the moment. I am playing well and I am playing for the club I have always wanted to play for.

"I have been working hard for five or six years to be where I am now, and sixth in the league, you can't ask for much more than that."
