Tottenham are making an offer for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young.
The Mirror says Spurs are offering £15million cash plus a player in part-exchange for Young.
Spurs have been chasing England ace Young, 25, since last month.
And Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has now finally made his move after qualifying for the Champions League.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy tried calling Villa officials on Friday to lodge the London club's offer.
But Villa are reluctant to do business with their Premier League rivals and have not responded.
Spurs are now poised to take matters into their own hands by faxing a formal offer today for Young.
The bid will be £15m in cash and offer Villa the choice of Robbie Keane, Jermaine Jenas or David Bentley in part-exchange.
