Roman Pavyluchenko is happy to be compared with former Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.

The Russia international is impressing after being signed as a replacement for the Manchester United forward.

"Berbatov was here before me and he scored quite a lot so I am expected to score loads of goals, I understand this," said the frontman, who was a United fan as a child.

"Berbatov is a great footballer so if people want to compare me to him, that's fine, I can appreciate it, I take it as a compliment, so no problem."
