Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is expected to be given the all-clear today.

Defoe was carried off after England's second goal in Switzerland last night.

The Spurs striker, who suffered an ankle injury in the second half, will have a scan today but did not seem too badly hurt.

England boss Fabio Capello said: "Defoe was a little thing."
