Tottenham star Harry Kane has played down any criticism of his behavior last week.
The England captain came in for some scrutiny after an incident involving Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The latter was sent off for putting his hand to Kane's face, which prompted him to theatrically fall to the ground.
After he was eviscerated in the press by the likes of Jamie Carragher and Danny Murphy, Kane hit back.
Following a game winner against Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League, Kane told reporters: "I'm good. I've not heard anyone say it was not a red card.
“At the end of the day that's football, that's the way it goes and people have their opinions. My focus was on trying to help the team in this game and that's what I did."
