Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admitted his side dominated Fulham in their 2-0 win at White Hart Lane on Tuesday.
Spurs won with goals from Peter Crouch and David Bentley and Redknapp said his side deserved the three points despite the fact Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer made life hard for the home team.
"Three points for Tottenham, that's the main thing," he said. "We've been playing well and we've come up against a terrific goalkeeper.
"But we deserved it, we dominated and our keeper didn't have too much to do."
Redknapp also heaped praise on Bentley who supplied the winner with help from a Bjorn Helge Riise deflection in the 60th minute.
"Bentley did very well, I'm very pleased with him tonight. He's a talented footballer with great ability and he showed that tonight," he added.
