Tottenham's Niko Kranjcar was delighted after the 3-0 win over Manchester City at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
The Croatia international netted twice - once in each half - to set up the victory for Spurs and was adamant they were very deserving of their three points after a few decent performances where things didn't quite go their way.
"Throughout the 90 minutes we were the better team, we created better chances and deserved to win the game," he told Sky Sports 2.
"The last three games, especially the two away games (draw against Aston Villa and Everton), we had great performances but didn't get the results.
"We believe we have a squad and talented players who can achieve big goals this season and we hope we will."
