Lewis Holtby has hinted at a possible Tottenham exit after saying he wants to play regular first team football.
The 23-year old German midfielder has struggled to force his way into the Spurs first team since joining from Schalke in January 2013 and admits he needs to consider moving on before the end of August if the opportunity arises.
"We're just going to have to see what happens in the next few days and weeks," Holtby, who has been linked with Hamburg, told t-online.de.
"I'm a young player and I want to be playing all the time. That's very important for me, for my development and for my career.
"Preferably, I would stay here with Tottenham of course and that's why I really hope that I get a chance."
