Wales all-time leading scorer Ian Rush is of the belief that Gareth Bale is fast becoming a world class player.
The Tottenham star is set to lead the Welsh side into their World Cup qualifier with Scotland in Glasgow on Friday and the Liverpool legend suggests the Dragons are in safe hands with him in the team.
"Wales have great individuals at the moment and the form that Bale is showing means he's capable of beating any country as well as any club. I think you'd have to say Bale is world class," Rush said.
"To perform in the English Premier League as he is, to be compared to (Leo) Messi and (Cristiano) Ronaldo, then I think Bale is alongside Luis Suarez and Robin van Persie in coming into the world class category.
"From Wales' point of view, in the form he is in he can win us any game."
