Tottenham have rejected an approach from Swansea City for coach Chris Davies.
BBC Sport says Swans have made a move for Davies as they seek to replace sacked manager Michael Duff.
Davies joined Spurs in the summer to become part of manager Ange Postecoglou's backroom team.
A former Wales youth international, Davies retired due to injury when he was just 19.
He previously worked with the Swans as part of Brendan Rodgers' backroom team and then worked with him at Celtic and Leicester.
