Cagliari defender Davide Astori is a top target for Tottenham.
Spurs football chief Franco Baldini is a big fan of Astori and hopes to tempt him from Cagliari this summer.
TMW says the 27 year-old is emerging as Spurs' top defensive transfer target as they prepare for a squad overhaul.
Astori has also been linked with Southampton and is a long-term target for AC Milan.
