Tottenham are keen on Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo.
The Daily Mail says Vadillo has a release clause of £17m but the Spanish club know they will not receive that amount because they are in administration. A more likely transfer fee is £8m.
Vadillo, who has played five times for Spain Under 20s, is one of the brightest prospects in La Liga.
The 18-year-old's displays have earned slightly generous comparisons with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Arsenal have also considered moving for him.
