Tottenham have opened talks with Chelsea for Conor Gallagher.

It's been claimed Chelsea have transfer-listed Gallagher ahead of the January market at a starting price of £40m.

Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting Tottenham have now opened negotiations with Chelsea over a deal for the England international.

Tottenham, in turn, are said to be open to releasing midfielder Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg in January. He is being linked with Juventus.

Gallagher's contract with Chelsea runs until the summer of 2025.
