A report in the Evening Standard suggests that Ajax star Jan Vertonghen will only move to England to play for Tottenham.
The 25-year old Belgian centre-back has reportedly told Ajax that Spurs are the only team in England he wants to play for but the North Londoners do not want to pay the reported £12million fee for his services.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is keen on Vertonghen but only wants to pay around £9.7m for the man who is attracting interest from other clubs across Europe.
