Tottenham have joined the race for DC United superkid Andy Najar.

Najar is expected at Arsenal next month for trials in front of manager Arsene Wenger.

However, sources in Najar's native Honduras say Spurs have also been in touch to register their interest.

Tottenham ace Wilson Palacios has talked up Najar's prospects to manager Harry Redknapp, who is now keen to take a closer look.
