Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks finally got his big break for Sampdoria this week.
The 26-year-old midfielder was in the matchday squad for their most recent Serie A game.
The Spurs academy product has struggled with injury issues since arriving at the Italian club in the summer.
Sampdoria are locked in a relegation battle, which means they need Winks fit as soon as possible.
After his side's 0-2 home loss to Napoli, Winks posted on his Instagram account the following day: "After a long and very difficult time injured, was good to finally be with the team last night!"
A month ago after surgery, he told SampNews24: "At the moment, I feel good. I'm proceeding gradually with the recovery. In fact, it's only been six weeks since my operation, so I need time to get back into shape.
“Now that I'm training separately on the field, I have the opportunity to see my teammates and have a comparison. I'm still physically behind them, but every day is a little bit more and for me, it's a small win."
