Tottenham midfielder Parker happy to come from behind and beat West Brom

Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker was happy to come from behind to beat West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.

West Brom took an early lead and that was the first time both Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor have been behind in a game as Spurs players.

"It was something new but I thought we did well," Parker told the Spurs website. "It's always difficult at West Brom and that was proved in the first half, they came at us and put us under pressure.

"We managed to get back into it and then re-grouped at half-time and caused them a lot of problems in the second half."

It was noticeable that Scott pushed further up the field as we searched for the second goal.

"I just felt like I needed to get up there, to drive us on and see if we could help create something to win the game," added the England international.

"We wanted the three points, we didn't want to leave with anything less and in the end it took a great goal from JD to secure it for us."
