Eric Dier admits he is excited to play Champions League games at Wembley Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur will host their European fixtures at English football's headquarters as White Hart Lane is redeveloped and although they would rather be operating at home, midfielder Dier suggests the experience should be embraced.
"The opposition are very excited to be able to play at Wembley but so are we," said Dier.
"We'd love to play at White Hart Lane but it's hard to beat Wembley.
"It's a very special stadium and luckily I've managed to play there already for England but to play there for Tottenham in the Champions League will be fantastic."
Spurs open their 2016/17 Champions League campaign against French club Monaco at Wembley next Wednesday night.
