Tottenham manager Postecoglou surprised by London award

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has stated that his team can deliver so much more.

Spurs are battling for a top four position and find themselves fifth in the table.

Despite being early pace setters, they have fallen away from the top three Premier League teams in Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal.

Speaking to BBC Radio London Sport after winning the Manager of the Year award at the London Football Awards, Postecoglou stated:

"A little bit bizarre, obviously I'm honored.

"I've not really made the impact I want to yet but obviously what we've done so far as a football club people have noticed which is great.

“I think our supporters have enjoyed elements of our football so far and there's more to come I guess."

If there was more to come from the team, he added: "There has to be. I've only really been here seven or eight months and we still haven't achieved anywhere near what we want to.

“So there is still a lot of work to do but, as I say, it's made some sort of impact which is pleasing."
