Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is considering selling Matt Doherty this summer.

Doherty joined Tottenham from Wolves last summer for £15m but has failed to replicate his form from Molineux in north London.

And ESPN says the Republic of Ireland international could be shipped out when the transfer window re-opens.

The 29-year-old has played just one full 90 minute match since being sent off against Leeds United in January.

For his part, Doherty wants to fight for his place at Spurs, with his contact set to expire in 2024.
