Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is considering using Gylfi Sigurdsson as a transfer makeweight.
Spurs have put the Iceland international up for sale and he is interesting former club Swansea City.
The Sunday Mirror says Sigurdsson enjoyed a successful spell with the Swans before he moved to Spurs two years ago, but has never nailed down a regular starting berth at White Hart Lane.
Pochettino has an interest in several Swansea players, including keeper Michel Vorm, left-back Ben Davies and striker Wilfried Bony - so a potential swap involving Sigurdsson could also be a possibility.
