Barcelona striker Memphis Depay is resisting a move to Tottenham.
Sport says Tottenham, which have already signed Clement Lenglet from Barca, is willing to pay the 20 million euros price tag wanted for Depay.
But the striker is in no mood to accept the deal. Despite the fact that he would have a chance to play in the Champions League, in a rejuvenated team that is aiming to go for all the important titles, the forward is not attracted by the opportunity.
Depay has said he wants to stay at Barça, but he has also made it clear that he wants to play. And he is aware that remaining in Barcelona would be a gamble and doesn't guarantee a place in the starting eleven.
But he also knows at the end of the season when his contract expires, he would have the freedom of going to another big club, with a potentially higher pay.
