Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is planning a bid for Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki.
The Mirror says Redknapp wants to thrash out a cheap deal with striker Zaki's parent club Zamalek, then take him on in the next window at the end of his up-and-down debut campaign in the Premier League.
Zaki's explosive start at Wigan had Redknapp drooling, and he thinks the time is right to pounce after the player fell out with boss Steve Bruce over his shocking timekeeping.
