Jake Livermore is desperate to get stuck into Leeds promotion push. The Tottenham midfielder will remain at Elland Road until the end of the season, as United look to close the six points gap from the Championship's second-placed side Norwich.
"There's eight games left, they're all cup finals and if we can't do it automatic, there's the play-offs," Livermore told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"It's what you play football for, the big games, and I want to help." The midfielder took advice from three former Leeds players - all now Spurs team-mates - before deciding to head north.
He said: "I spoke to Aaron Lennon, Danny Rose and Jonathan Woodgate and they only had positive things to say."
