Tottenham left back Ryan Sessegnon has withdrawn from the England Under-21 squad.
The defender, who can also play as a winger, suffered a knock in training, per the Evening Standard.
He is now heading back to Spurs for assessment and possible treatment, as they prepare for a London derby against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Sessegnon has struggled with injuries all season, missing most of pre-season under new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
He did play both legs of the Europa Conference League play-off win over Pacos de Ferreira, but has not been involved in the Premier League beyond a place on the bench.
