Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel has no plans for retirement.

Indeed, the American, now 41, is already planning for next season.

"How long can I play? As long as managers around the world no longer want me," he said. "At 35 years of age I never expected to still be here at 40.

"There is no secret to this."
